Perfect and wonderful location on the beach was a plus. Loved our rooms with seaview. Essentials that you need, such as an electric kettle, climate control and an iron with ironing board, were there.

I went to a family wedding. Severalof my family also stayed at the Marine. We would stay there again if we were down that way.

We found The Marine a welcoming and lively hotel, and found the staff very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a very nice evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant where the service was especially good. All in all very good value for money. All the members of staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The blonde girl serving couldn't have been more welcoming - we got to sit with a beautiful view out to sea which was great. At breakfast the young man was equally friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the people who work there. The shower in the bathroom took a bit of working out but once fiddled with was of a good quality. The bed was SOOO soft and comfy. Parking was no problem either as we parked directly outside the hotel. We could see the car as we stared out of our window which always seems reassuring!
The only very minor moan would be the television in the room. Though modern and showing the Freeview channels, it wouldn't show BBC1. Not a massive setback unless you really want to see something. I think it was more to do with the lack of reception in the area rather than a duff set. Anyway, who goes away to watch tv?

Had a comfortable room with a good night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was of a good standard.
Although room was in a clean condition, was disappointed with the windows not having adequate locks on. Also found TV had no signal so could not watch TV in room.

Friendly staff both in connection with the hotel and the bar. Ample car parking, hotel close to local shops. And quite close to whitstable as well. Had seafromt room which was nice, but balcony needed to be cleaned up. Bathroom was modern but needs a handrail on the wall for access into the shower (above bath)

We originally booked for one night but changed to stay for 3. For the middle day we had arranged an 80th birthday celebration lunch. The meal was very good. The staff were plenty, prompt and courteous. It all went very smoothly and we had use of the room for as long as we wanted, which was well into the evening for some. All went very smoothly. Excellent room with balcony overlooking the sea. Very good breakfast.

Fine views and good dining experience
The restaurant was a highlight, with delicious seafood linguini and a fantastic ribeye steak that melted in my mouth! Access to beautiful early morning walks made it even better. The bathroom facilities could use some enhancement for added comfort.
